This hit my inbox this afternoon and I was so overwhelmed, I had to share it.

The pictures from the wedding are spectacular. I just want you to know. I teared up just reliving the memories as I looked at them. It was one of the most beautiful day(s) I've ever witnessed in my entire life. You captured it beautifully.

Erin & Adam: The Wedding

I was so excited when Erin, my cousin, asked me to photograph her upcoming wedding. I knew that Erin's and my sense of style would get along swimmingly. Boy, did it! Erin & Adam were married on a Friday evening at dusk in front of the closest of family and friends followed by a dessert and dancing reception on Saturday night. So, the order of things will look a little bit different.

Erin & Adam wanted their wedding to be touched by their family and friends. Erin's brother walked her down the eisle. Adam's dad was his best man. A friend performed the ceremony, a friend made the wedding cake (and cupcakes), friends even catered a private dinner following the ceremony. Everything was incredibly intimate and personal.

Erin & Adam - A Vintage Love

Erin & Adam were so much fun to work with. My year was made when Erin told me she wanted to do a vintage inspired shoot the day after their wedding. After squealing and jumping up and down for 10 minutes, my wheels started turning.

The day after they were pronounced husband and wife, we loaded up the car with props and ideas and headed off to random field, USA. You know, the word prop gets a bad rap. I think most go straight to columns and teddy bears and fake flowers. But, the right prop, the right setting can make for some inspiring imagery.
